The full form of CSS is Central Superior Services. The recruitment of civil servants for departments of the government of Pakistan is supervised by the Federal Public Service. FPSC is responsible for conducting the CSS Exam 2023 since it announces various government jobs. CSS exam is a rigorous exam that requires a substantial amount of continuous effort and smart preparation. The exam is supposed to be conducted among candidates for the pay scale BS-17. There are 3 main components of the CSS exam, which are the written test, the medical and psychological test, and the final selection interview. The medical and psychological test takes place afterward, leading to a final selection interview, once the written exam has been cleared.

The full form of PMS is Provincial Management Service. PMS Pakistan is a highly competitive exam conducted by the provincial government through its respective commissions, which are PPSC, SPSC, BPSC, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KPSC, and the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission. PMS follows the same pattern followed by CSS, comprising 3 components, namely the written exam followed by the medical and psychological test, and then a final selection interview toward the end. Those candidates who clear the whole procedure are appointed as Grade 17 First Class Government Officers.
